Appointments: At your first appointment we intend for you to meet the doctors, have time to express your concerns and ask questions. Diagnostic records will be taken, which may include x-rays and study models of your teeth. (If your previous dentist has x-rays that are less than two years old, please have them forwarded to our office before your exam.) Following a comprehensive examination, you may be asked to come back for a discussion of treatment options. Cleanings will be scheduled based upon the state of your periodontal health.
The Importance of Regular Visits: Regular dental visits are essential to maintaining healthy teeth and gums. For maximum benefit, a good home care regimen must be supplemented with a professional examination and cleaning at least every six months. Depending on your oral health, the dentist along with the hygienist may recommend more frequent visits.
